Peter Riley

Paintings

Artist Peter Riley completed his fine art degree in Bristol during the eighties and after leaving college, side-stepped into graphic design in order to make a living. With work, family and other commitments Peter has had little time for creative endeavours and has only just recently started picture making again. All pictures are new this year and completely original.
Peter's work reflects life around him. His surroundings, relationships and situations which catch his imagination. Peter likes to think of his
images as pictorial poems using shapes and colours. Merging, complementing, juxtaposing and clashing. Also, his paintings tell a story or maybe the viewer could make up their own story.
