With her distinctive style, Laina creates stylised and abstract compositions that offer a fresh and modern perspective to familiar London landmarks. In her work Laina aims to explore the dynamic juxtaposition of the old and new in a constantly evolving cityscape. With her camera she picks out the geometric detail, sculptural beauty and diverse array of shape and form of popular London landmarks including the Tate Modern, the London Eye, Westminster, St. Paul's Cathedral and London Bridge pictures. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2002, Laina Watt has worked as a professional sculptor in the studios of Damien Hirst before going on to found The Fine Art Company.
