The Limed ash colour with a white mount is perfect for those aiming for a minimalist feel.

classic:

Simple and versatile, the Classic works well with practically any interior and style of image, from modern to classical.

The Classic is square with slightly rounded edges, and not as angular as the 'box' or 'wide'

scoop:

Elegant and curvaceous, the Scoop is a very appealing frame, working well with most images.

Perfect for those seeking a balance between very traditional and very modern!

reverse:

The Reverse is similar to the wide profile, but has an edge that slopes away from the image.

The Reverse Wedge profile is a great universal frame.

Great for prints of all sizes and styles.

wedge:

2.5cm wide x 4cm deep

Available in all colours except gold and silver

A great universal frame, which works well in any environment.

The black wedge and white mount works particularly well with black and white photos.

The sloping angle to this frame makes it more three dimensional and interesting.

narrow:

2.2cm wide x 2.2cm deep

The narrow profile is a simple, versatile frame, which does not draw attention away from the image.

This frame works well in any interior and any style of print.

Not for use on prints larger than 65 x 95cm, as this frame is not as strong over large surface areas as our other options.

panel or 'canvas style' frame:

0.5cm wide x 5cm deep

available in all colours seen below except gold and silver.

Great with abstract and contemporary works like Rothko or Pollock.

Gives a 'box canvas' look to prints.

The print itself is mounted onto board, which means that this framing option does not involve mounts or glazing.

Borders and text are removed unless you instruct us otherwise!

black bamboo:

1.5cm wide x 2cm deep

Available in Black only.

Elegant oriental bamboo frame - ideal for Oriental style prints like Hokusai and Hiroshige!

Ideal for interiors with a Japanese look or oriental theme.

traditional gold:

5cm wide x 2.2cm deep

this frame works really well in conjunction with the Ivory coloured mount.

These appealing gold and silver frames are perfect for use in period or traditional surroundings.

Great for Impressionist and old masters paintings, and anything with metallic inks!

On smaller size prints we will automatically reduce the frame width.

The silver frame has gold flecks in it, and can be used where a subtler gold colour is required or where silver is preferred.

Mount colours

Unless you instruct us otherwise, when we frame a fine art print or poster, we frame it to the image size with a 100mm mount all round, removing any text or border.

The mount board we use (or "mat") is all of the highest quality, and acid free, and therefore suitable for framing our limited edition artworks.

Very large framed prints (with any side measuring 100cm or over) will be framed using White or Ivory mounts.

If there is a particular colour you are after that you do not see here, then please contact us with details. Extra thick and double mounting is available on request, though prices may differ to those on the website, which are for the standard mounts.

glazing your fine art print

Please state whether or not you would like your print framed with glass or polymer.

You have the option of glass or polymer glazing for your print. Polymer, a safe, shatterproof "styrene based" glass substitute looks exactly the same as glass, but is far more robust, and travels better. It is ideal in environments where health and safety guidelines apply, or in more robust situations - schools, hospitals etc. We will use glass substitute for the larger sized works shown with print reference numbers beginning with "X" or "O" or "B" as this eliminates the possibility of breakage in transit. In our experience, smaller framed prints (where the print code begins with "S") travel fine when glazed with glass.

delivery information

We regret that we do not currently ship framed prints beyond the UK

As all of our fine art prints are custom framed to order please allow around 10 working days for delivery of your framed print. However, if you do have a deadline to meet, then please give us a call with the details.

Our framed prints are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery, and are shipped by courier. Delivery is free on UK mainland orders delivered between 9 and 5 on a weekday. We will call you prior to despatch. If you require an AM or Saturday delivery, we will happily organise this, but will pass on courier costs to you. If you think accepting a standard delivery may be problematic for you, please contact us to discuss your options.
