We have now extended our range to include pedestals in various materials including stainless steel, teak, wood and stone making them ideal for galleries and architectural projects where something special is required. About Our MDF Plinth Range All our display plinths and decorative art pedestals are expertly constructed from 18mm Medium Density Fibreboard. The sides are mitred to form an extremely strong and seamless structure. Inside they are sealed against moisture using an adhesive. Outside they are primed, undercoated and finished in an acrylic Dulux brilliant white Eggshell paint to give them a seamless finish. These beautifully crafted display art pedestals in both classic and modern styles are ideal for collectors of sculpture, ceramics and other three dimensional artworks, as well as for schools, museums, shops, display pedestals for florists, showrooms and art galleries. They are designed to be sturdy, and (with the exception of the 'Hollow' design) can carry weights of up to 150 kilos, though for particularly heavy sculptures, it is advised that they are reinforced. This can be done on request. We also have a new range of Sculpture Pedestals and Columns including cylindrical designs and stone effects. Regrettably we do not currently ship plinths outside the UK. Custom Built Art Plinths and
Pedestals Although we have attempted to create a range of art pedestals and exhibition display equipment to suit all needs, in some cases you may have special requirements, for the display of a particularly large art piece or floral display for example. We can custom build art plinths to suit all needs in varying sizes and finished with a variety of colours. Simply contact us with the details at the number below for a quote. Custom built plinths and pedestals are non-returnable. Plinth Delivery Times We try to keep good stocks of our standard sized plinths and can often deliver to you within a few days. However, demand for our plinths is high, and can sometimes take up to ten working days, so if you need sculpture plinths for a special event, be sure to contact us well in advance. Custom built display pedestals and exhibition accessories can take up to four weeks to produce, depending on the size and quantity. Nevertheless, if you have a deadline to meet, then let us know, and we will do our best to meet it! IMPORTANT: WHEN YOUR PLINTH OR PEDESTAL IS DELIVERED PLEASE SIGN FOR IT WITH THE WORD 'UNCHECKED' RATHER THAN A SIGNATURE. REGRETTABLY THE FINE ART COMPANY CANNOT REPLACE OR OFFER REFUND DAMAGED ITEMS IF THEY HAVE BEEN SIGNED FOR AS 'ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION'. We now offer hand built wooden pillars, ideal for displaying sculptures, antiques or other special artworks. These attractive wooden plinths are made from Japanese Kiri or Palownia wood, a lightweight wood used in traditional furniture making in Japan. Available in three heights, each plinth has a 30 x 30cm footprint. Because they are hand made, colour and finish may vary slightly from the image due to the natural qualities of the wood.
