Simon Palmer Art Prints
Charming Limited Edition Prints by British Artist Simon Palmer
Yorkshire-born artist Simon Palmer has gained a huge following both in the UK and abroad for his distinctive watercolour paintings of the Yorkshire landscape. Simon studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Reigate School of Art in Kent, but he was encouraged by his art teachers to turn his attention to painting. Simon Palmer's meticulously detailed paintings are brimming with wit and his evident love for the landscape and natives of Yorkshire. He has a completely unique art style that is immediately beguiling. He works into his paintings using pen and ink to achieve incredibly detailed foliage and tree bark as seen in his limited edition art prints 'East of Eden' and 'Mary South'. Simon Palmer's exquisite watercolour paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and at Glyndebourne Opera House near Lewes in East Sussex and he has won several prizes for his work.
Here you will find our collection of lovingly produced Simon Palmer Limited Edition fine art prints. Popular titles include 'East of Eden' and 'Cycling Home', two of Palmer's best-loved paintings.
Left: 'Pilgrims Way' art print by Simon Palmer
In this English pastoral scene three small figures wearing hats and brown coats make their way along a wooded path winding through fields to a charming church in the far left of the picture. One 'Pilgrim' takes a rest leaning against a tree. Ocres, greens and browns suggest a late summer or autumn landscape. Originally painted in ink and watercolour, this fine art print is produced as a limited edition of 850 on a high quality watercolour paper.
'Cycling Home' Art Print by #SimonPalmer
Below you'll find our limited edition art print 'Cycling Home' - one of Simon Palmer's best-loved watercolours. It features a typical English country lane winding through the Yorkshire countryside between hedgerows, meadows and trees.
