Edward Hopper Nighthawks Poster UK
‘Nighthawks’ is arguably Edward Hopper’s most famous painting, and one of the best-known artworks of the twentieth century. The work was made in 1942, just after the advent of fluorescent lights that give the all-night diner its eerie beauty. The anonymous figures at the bar are separated from the viewer by a pane of glass, and seem remote even from one another. Edward Hopper said, ‘unconsciously, probably, I was painting the loneliness of a large city’. Our 'Nighthawks' poster is beautifully reproduced using the digital Giclee process on a satin finish fine art paper. It is available in a range of sizes to suit your space.
