British painter printmaker Eric Ravilious is one of our best-loved Sussex artists. This watercolour painting dating from 1939 depicts the famous lighthouse at Beachy Head on the Seven Sisters cliffs outside Eastbourne. This moody scene was painted on a stormy day and the beams of light coming from the lighthouse have an other-worldly quality. Beachy Head lighthouse is an iconic British scene and this is one of our best selling Limited Edition prints of Sussex and indeed England.
