This 'Different Aspects of Submarines' Print by Eric Ravilious is from his 'Submarine Series of wartime watercolour paintings'. They were initially commissioned by the War Artist’s Committee in 1940, but then rejected by them leaving Ravilious free to paint as he wished. Ravilious enjoyed painting submarines, submariners and the interiors of the vessels. This limited edition giclee print is produced to the original size of the lithograph.
