'Train Landscape' is one of the best-loved watercolour paintings of Eric Ravilious and is viewed by many as one of his 'masterpieces'. Painted in 1939, it shows the Westbury Horse in Wiltshire as seen from the window of a train carriage. It forms the perfect pair to the limited edition print 'Westbury Horse' which shows the train crossing the Wiltshire landscape as viewed from the chalf figure on the Downs.
